Markus Pralle — Master Black Belt and consultant
Profile

Markus Pralle

Diplom Engineer in Physical Engineering · Master Black Belt · TÜV-Süd certified trainer

Methodological competence with semiconductor DNA. Markus Pralle did not start his career in consulting but in semiconductor manufacturing — five years as a process integration engineer at Mitsubishi Electric, working closely with Japanese colleagues and with regular working visits to Japan.

He moved from industry into consulting via quality management at Micronas Freiburg, then went self-employed in 2007. Today he supports medium-sized Hidden Champions and international corporations from his base in Aachen — in Hi-Tech, sensor technology, mechanical engineering and beyond.

Career stages

From semiconductor manufacturing into consulting

A career in which methodological craft was first built up in industry — and consulting came only afterwards. Exactly this sequence is the asset today that allows collaboration with engineers at eye level.

  1. 2000 – 2004

Mitsubishi Electric · Semiconductor site Germany

Five years as a process integration engineer in semiconductor manufacturing. Close cooperation with Japanese colleagues, regular working visits to Japan. First reflective engagement with Japanese and German quality culture.

  2. 2004 – 2007

    Micronas · Freiburg

Move into quality management at a German semiconductor manufacturer. Deepened expertise in methods of prevention and problem-solving, critical engagement with quality-oriented thinking and action in industrial practice.

  3. 2007 – 2015

    Self-employed consulting and training

Move into self-employment. Focus: building improvement cultures that strengthen both methodological competence and the mindset of employees. First long-standing partnerships — including with IST AG, which Markus Pralle has supported continuously since this year.

  4. since 2015

    Q+ Consulting

Founding of today's Q+ Consulting brand in Aachen. Building a three-pillar architecture — classical quality techniques, Lean Six Sigma and Quality Mindset culture — in combination with the sister brands eAcademy (esixsigma.de) and QMindset (qmindset.de).
